The Ford Explorer Stars in TV Series Gotham

PEKIN, Ill. – This is the second year that Fox, the producers of Gotham have put Ford in the spotlight, and this time the Ford Explorer stars in the TV series Gotham. The first year, the Ford Fusion was highlighted throughout the season, but this year we’re looking at the 2016 Explorer Platinum.

The Ford Explorer stars in exclusive Gotham content with 60-second segments during the broadcast. The season premiere of Gotham was on Monday, so fans would have seen it then, but you can look forward to seeing the Explorer Platinum through March 14. There will also be extra clips online at FOX.com.

The 60-second clips feature actor Cory Michael Smith, who plays Edward Nygma and future villain the Riddler. In Gotham: Wrath of the Villains, the Riddler will take offer viewers a sneak peak into his world by exploring the streets of New York City and solving a number of riddles.

Viewers will want to stay tuned for the next clips each week because they’ll hear inside information and a few teasers on other possible villains that will be feature in the TV series.

Marketing manager, Ginger Kasanic, is very excited for this collaboration saying, “It’s a fun and very creative way to showcase some of what makes Explorer Platinum such a great vehicle. A lot of people – from the show’s writers to Cory himself – really got involved in the story-telling process.”

Gotham fans are not only getting sneak peeks for their favorite show from these 60-segment clips, but they’re also learning all about what the 2016 Explorer Platinum has to offer.

Ford Introduces the BraunAbility MXV – the First Wheelchair-Accessible SUV

PEKIN, Ill. – Ford just introduced the BraunAbility MXV – the first wheelchair-accessible SUV. The world’s best-selling SUV for 25 years now, the Ford Explorer, is actually the inspiration of the BaunAbility MXV. 

Because Ford stops at absolutely nothing to provide their customers with the best vehicles, they partnered up with BraunAbility to give Wheelchair users the accessibility they need in a car, but also the style and bold spirit of the 2016 Ford Explorer.

The most important feature to the BrauAbility MXV is the spacious interior made for wheelchair comfort and movement. Also, wheelchair users have the opportunity to drive the vehicle or sit in any of the passenger seats. Here are your following interior dimensions:

• 28 1/2-inch usable ramp width
• 58-inch interior height (vehicle center)
• 59-inch interior height (for driver and passenger)
• 55-inch interior floor length behind front seats
