PEKIN, Ill. – Ford just introduced the BraunAbility MXV – the
first wheelchair-accessible SUV. The world’s best-selling SUV for 25 years
now, the Ford Explorer, is actually the inspiration of the BaunAbility MXV.
Because Ford stops at absolutely nothing to provide their
customers with the best vehicles, they partnered up with BraunAbility to give
Wheelchair users the accessibility they need in a car, but also the style and
bold spirit of the 2016 Ford Explorer.
The Marketing Manager of Ford, Mark Odeh, had this to say, “We’re thrilled the Explorer
name is connected to such a highly respected brand like BraunAbility. Explorer
has always been associated with helping people go places they otherwise could
not, and BraunAbility MXV furthers that reputation.”
Ford
